OT: MLB Thread

why in the hell was the cubbies catcher behind the plate when that throw from outfield to get Lagares at home came in. he was dead at home if the catcher had been in front of the plate where he was suppose to be. terrible mistake.

Don't worry... you'll have other high points to watch when they come back.

I won't switch back and in any event, it will not be the same franchise. Calling a tulip a rose does not make it a rose. You can call them the Expos but like the Browns who moved to Baltimore and really are the Ravens, the new team is not the Browns. When there is a break in the continuum, there is a break.

Lucky for us

He'll be the biggest fan. He already is based on how much talks about them here.

I would love to talk more about my team but alas the conversation here always goes to Blue Jays or a dead team.

In any event, why would I change from a team that won more playoff games in 2014 than the dead team did in 35 years? The Canadiens and Cowboys give me enough playoff heartache, why volunteer for more?

The old Browns new Browns comparison doesn't work to fit your argument Count. The new Browns are just as bad as the old ones were. They still find new and interesting ways to lose just like the old ones.

1981 was bittersweet, but I was honored to be a part of the @RDSca #BlueMonday doc airing tonight. It's a tough anniversary today. #Expos

Watched the program on RDS. Rogers had been so good at the end of 1981. Hard to watch even after all these years
