Sorry, I missed this beforehand. Was working the election yesterday and had a long day at my other job the day before.

I'll wait and see... I'm trying to be frugal right now, but if they somehow manage to take down the Royals (which still looks like an epicurean task despite last night) I might get stupid for the World Series.

Who knows? I was in grade one the last time the Jays were in the playoffs after all.
 
I was in Atlanta Fulton County Stadium the night the Jays won their 1st World series probably about 5 beers in when the Jays finally won the thing. I guess that anniversary date is upcoming and man, am I getting old. Ugh.

Btw... how the **** can the Braves have moved into their new ballpark in 1996 after the Olympics and are already building a replacement for that one as well? Meanwhile Montreal's Olympic Stadium opened in 1976 and is still being used... sparingly mind you.
 
Funny how Burton hasn't paid us a visit so far this game.

BTW, Wehave, if Royals hang on and do not choke this game and series away, will Burton have anywhere to hide?
 
If Jays lose this game,. they are merely in the same position as they were against texas... need to win 3 in a row to advance.
 
Perez is taking a beating behind the plate. It's only the third inning and he's been dinged four or five times really hard in the mask and in the chest.
