OT: Movies/TV Shows

Yes, I'm kidding people.
I'm a big fan of Succession but I found this season never quite reached the heights of previous seasons.

Without giving any spoilers away, they could have ended the series last season -- a version of that ending IMO was a very apt way to end everything.
You have to take into fact that these are highly damaged people, it was congruent for me but nothing wowing.

Doing a Justified rewatch in anticipation of the new season and it might be even better than i thought it was, at least the first 4 seasons as i recall the last two being just okay, regardless im not sure there are much better dialogues between any two characters than Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder. The support and guest stars are off the charts too.

BTW, I re-watched "Clifford" the Martin Short/Charles Grodin film as it's now becoming a cult classic. Funny, dark. strange film. Short plays an evil 10 year-old (He was 44) and not once do you think how dumb it is. You buy it. It bombed and was shredded by critics, but pretty funny and ballsy.

I remember seeing it when it came on tv back then, after hearing how bad it bombed and how bad it was...

And it's fucking hilarious. Great fucking movie.

I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it was really good.
I can’t remember who, but I think James Gunn for one was saying it was the best animated movie ever and best take on Spider-Man ever, and I was like nah sorry.

I judge most stuff based on whether I’d want to rewatch it to reexperience it, and I have no real interest in that one.

The Artist Formerly Known as chiggins.
That Blackberry film is great -- almost every scene bristles with energy and comedy. Matt Johnson is my favourite director from English Canada.

Though, be advised that a lot of the facts get obliterated for the sake of dramatic tropes.
