Gotta say I wasn't big on Rogue One. I found myself not caring much about the story.
Yeah, me too. Force Awakens was fun at times, but mostly it felt like a really lazily-written, shot-by-shot remake of "A New Hope", with some really horribly cringy characters as well. I do my utter best to convince myself that the movie sucks before I go watch it. It's the only way I can avoid dissappointment.
Same here. I just couldn't get connected / engaged with the characters in Rogue One. Probably due to lack of player development / poor acting / both.I feel the opposite with this. When stuff happened (are we still hiding spoilers?) I did not care.
Which is why I was not a big fan.
