No one cares other than the chattering classes or those like you who look down on those with whom you disagree.

Most normal people realize that paper straws and carbon taxes do NOTHING for clean air but it allows the chattering classes to act holier than thou as they drive their huge SUVs or fly private planes to climate conferences where they tell use to drive electric.
 
Most normal people don't base their political choices on trivial things like their dislike of paper straws. If my choice is between paper straws and fascism, I'm taking the paper straw candidate.

But it seems that the wealthier one is, the less bothered they are at the prospect of living under a dictatorship. And it also seems that the wealthier one is the more likely they are to be outraged by minor inconveniences like having to use paper straws. The fact that you continually bring up paper straws in your strawman arguments tells us that you have nothing substantive about which to complain. You simply want what you want when and how you want it. It is the epitome of white privilege and entitlement.

Well, perhaps you feel secure enough not to care that Poilievre and Trump are fascists but I don't. And I'm sure as hell not going to obsess over paper straws to the point where I'm ever going to be comfortable handing over the reigns of power to the hillbilly party.

Are they foreigners? The woman on the bullhorn didn't sound foreign to me. And burning flags isn't illegal as far as I know. It's protected under the law. Stop acting so jingoistic. If you were a real patriot and actually cared about freedom you'd be happy to send your kid to the steppe to fight for it.

As usual, you misrepresent what I have written. I have stated from the beginning, Ukraine cannot win and that we need to be keeping money at home helping our own people instead of sending money into the abyss known as the Vlod v Vlad slavonic civil war. You insist Ukraine is winning despite losing territory along the entire front daily. If you want to think that makes me a Putin supporter, so be it. I prefer not to cover my ears and scream Ukraine is winning, Ukraine is winning. You have tried for 2 years to convince me and have failed. Russia is like Rome, it fights until it wins.

Ukraine MUST win in order to avoid the West being sucked into WW3. You can't just say "Well, they can't win so let's stop sending aid to make it happen sooner". Britain stood no chance against Germany in 1940. If it was up to you you'd have told them to surrender i suppose.

Fascism must be opposed wherever it exists, to the death if need be.

Holy false equivalencies Batman.

a) UK still was not invaded and had not lost 20% of its territory

b) Churchill >>>> Cocainsky

c) Russia is not Nazi Germany

d) UK was not alone, Canada, NZ, Aus, were still in the fight.

e) Ukraine is running out of men, material and losing territory daily and no amount of money or equipment will stop it. No western mom, dad, wife or husband will accept a loved one dying for Kiev, Kharkov or Artemvosk.

Russia IS or at least will become Nazi Germany if they are not stopped. And its Russia who are emptying prisons in order to find cannon fodder, not Ukraine.

People will accept what they must, be it taxes or conscription, because the alternative is slavery under Putin. We either fight him over there or we fight him over here eventually.

Ukraine is going to win this war, not just because it needs to, but because we all need it to. Because some of us at least know that if we don't stop them here and now that it won't be the end of it. I'm not sure why so many in the west seem happy to root for the fascist dictator to swallow up his neighbors but this is where we are.

Fortunately, Trump has no chance of winning in November now so once the next coup attempt is brushed aside the Harris-Walz Administration will ensure that the aid keeps flowing.

Do you think Putin is trying to help Trump win because he's winning the war in Ukraine right now? He NEEDS Trump to win to avoid losing it and probably to avoid being deposed and/or assassinated. When Harris wins Putin's days are numbered because so long as they are properly funded the Ukrainians will never stop fighting. Most Russian conscripts only care about going home.

Harris' campaign is imploding. Donnie is now the betting favourite to win. Even Bill Maher who had her winning just two weeks ago now figures she is losing.
 
She will win and it won't be close. The media wants a close race and they're trying to pretend it is but on election day Trump is getting crushed.
