I just don't care for the way people try to differentiate between religions to pretend that some are better than others. They are all objectively bad because they are all about coersive control over large groups of people.
 
I'm chuckling at the woke on bluesky like Wilde and his minions claiming they don't want Trump Yanks on their teams. One Senasnore fan says he no longer wants Tkachuk as his captain, I said ok, we will give you Pezzetta for him.

I warned one that the booing and shitting on the US could cause say Lane to say fuck it, no second contract and demand a trade. He said so what, his sovereignty is more important than a player on his team. People are so dumb.

Lane's father, Ron, is Canadian. I'm sure he'll explain to his son that they were booing Trump's insane, and highly offensive, annexation idea, which we all know he's not actually serious about . . . but still.

I'm convinced that Donnie rubs one out when he reads all the pearl clutching regarding his comments, he never uses the word invade, but Wilde claims we will be invaded, He says we would be better off as americans, and in some respects he is right, others he is wrong. He hates Trudeau so hopefully come March 9 when he is gone, we can go back to a somewhat normal relationship with our brethren to the south.

It doesn't matter what deciding not to spend money in the US accomplishes or doesn't. What matters is taking a MORAL stand.

But I get that lawyers see no need for morality. They only care about what's legal, not about what is actually right or wrong. That is a moral leap that you have to make in order to do your job for your client.

A moral person would never agree to litigate on behalf of a serial killer and the result would be that the serial killer would be denied a legal defense. So some lawyer out there needs to be able to crawl into the cesspit with their client in order to defend them. Lawyers only have legal and ethical imperatives they have to follow, not moral ones. They can rationalize anything to make what they decide to do seem morally acceptable but nobody is fooled.

If you go to Disneyworld you're a Quisling. It doesn't mean anyone is going to stop you, but they won't let you off the moral hook either.

The 4 Nations didn't get interesting until it became political.

Sports is tedious unless there's hatred involved. The hate makes it great. That's why seeing the Habs beat Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, or Boston is more satisfying than seeing them beat San Jose or New Jersey. I dont hate the Sharks or Devils. They neither please nor offend me so beating them or losing to them doesn't affect me much.

The others? Not so much.
