OT: Soccer thread

So now the proper soccer thing to say is not that the match was pure drudgery, but that this was a new, mature england who now understand what it takes to win in a tourney - patient, sturdy, diligent defense.

That's also a list of the top-15 ranked teams in uefa.

So all but one of the teams left are in the top-12 in europe, and the only top-12 teams that are out all lost to a top-12 team.

CZE and SUI wins were pretty big upsets, but nothing too crazy, as both are legit sides.

the only real outlier remaining is Ukraine who shouldnt make the QFs - meaning the final 8 should all be top-12 teams in europe, with the other four all getting beat by other top-12 teams.
