No doubt; she's pretty solid overall ; )

And she seems pretty calm too: none of the overgrunting, fistpumping crap!

Compared to most of the women I have seen in this tourny, Eugenie's power is up there, which is why I don't normally watch women's tennis because it is usually lobs back and forth at each other. Only the top players play with power.

Bouchard wins the 1st game in set 2.

I don't see the power you are talking about...

I just hope she improves her second serve!!! She will have more of a chance to make it top 10, dare I say?

No I didn't. But I watched her last match and I'm watching this match currently. And her fh is nothing special. It's sooo awkward.

To her credit, at least she can vary her shots from time to time.

Her last match was against the Australian. Her forehand isn't great in this game but it's still better than most of the women's circuit.

Remember also... she is 19 facing a 24 or 26 year old?? Her power and especially her 2nd serve will improve but for 19 she is in fine shape.

I saw her against Dellacqua... Again her fh is nothing special... I'm on a tennis forum and we're all in agreement ... of course it's better then someone ranked #100 though :lol

Remember I watch tennis a lot... so when you tell me it's good for a 19 year old... I'm thinking of the Hingis, Sharapova, Serena... so I don't know what to say... For a Canadian teen, Genie is great? Can we agree on that? :lol

Azarenka is like Sharapova in that respect (the grunting) and she can get pretty nasty with umpires and ball kids... so annoying.

I have to like her, my girlfriend is Belarusian and idolizers her. :)

Actually she is very well liked on the tour by other players.

I guess I look at it based on the whole circuit. She is not in Williams, Azarenka league but for 19 she is much better than a lot of I have seen... and I am not talking about someone ranked 100.
