I just knew before clicking it, it would be Avi Loeb….nobody loves seeing their name in print more than Loeb, by leveraging his legitimately great scientific credentials, to say some of the more outlandish poorly supported sensationalist hypotheses possible, so that he’ll have articles written & YT videos made about it.
I think he’s overtaken Michio Kaku now, as the leading promoters of science (fan)fiction, than serious scientific communicators.
