OT: The News Thread

Another patron named Kevin Chiu said he was also at the CNE on Tuesday and starting feeling sick after eating the cronut burger, the donut burger, an ice cream sandwich and fried onions and drinking lemonade.

I honestly feel gross just thinking about what people are eating.
They honestly deserve what they get.

Christ they have one meal a bacon burger with bacon fries and a peanut butter bacon milkshake, whole thing is 7500 calories. Seriously these people need to just die...

We cut it into about 12 pieces.

And we kinda felt 'ill' after. And we didn't blame the chefs (ourselves) because we knew THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU EAT THAT MUCH GREASE.

Do these people grab both drumsticks and half the gravy at thanksgiving and get mad at Aunt Gladace for shoddy food safety after?

Of course you should talk to your neighbors, but above all else, keep the fence/pathway/whatever on your side and then there is no issue.

Yeah they did that. It was a little extra sting because it was originally our property, but we let them pay for the fence between our backyards and that meant technically it became their property for an extra 6 inches, or some such thing. That was before my time. But yeah they took great pains to get as close to the property line as possible without going over.
 
Lime does not sit well with me. Anytime I have too much of it in a dish (one time I was making pasta and went overboard), that had me barfing.

A man in his twenties was sexually assaulted by another man while jogging along the lower Don River Trail early Wednesday morning.
Police say the unknown suspect approached the 28-year-old jogger around 3 a.m. with a weapon before sexually assaulting him.
The jogger then fought with the man for the weapon, sustaining minor injuries in the struggle.
The suspect then ran away.
The wanted man is described as white, about 45 years of age, standing six feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. He has a stocky build with short, light hair. He was last seen wearing a light shirt.

Never understood the big deal about The Ex to be honest. You can eat shitty food whenever you want and there are significantly better rides and attractions at Wonderland anyways.
 
apparently the CNE grounds were absolutely crushed by the Flood, and nobody thought to clean it up until a week before the ex opened. Apparently the food area was swampy maggot infested slush during the cleanup.
