OT: The News Thread

If you recline in economy in 2025, you're a dick. Nothing worse than someone who can't stay asleep on a 3 hr flight putting the back of their seat in my lap.

I prefer babies on flights to that. Is it the airlines faults for constantly jamming seats closer and closer together? Yes, course. But suck it up and sit upright for 3 hours of your life.
I'm flying premium economy with Cathay Pacific on my trip to New Zealand in March. I never pay for upgrades but I hear they have one of the best Premium Economy, and for 20+ hours up in the air, I think it's work it. I did not enjoy my 7 hour flight to Paris in the back of the Delta plane, sat beside a kicking child the whole time

They don’t even recline enough to become more comfortable. All they do is make the person behind you less comfortable.

Flew pod from Korea to Germany and Germany to Calgary and will never fly long distance trips without one again. As long as the price is reasonable, having the ability to sleep comfortable on a 12+ hour flight is a game changer for jet lag.

If you keep an eye on prices, you can usually find a decent deal that's a marginal bump over premium economy

If I owned an airline, all children and the adults accompanying them would either be banned outright or issued parachutes so they could be evicted mid-flight if necessary. Either that, or thrre would be flights only for people with kids and other flights adults only.

Why would we make obviously the thief into a detective.

Yes, yes, I'm sure that all randos around Paris dress like international jewel thieves.
