your entire premise of "tradition" is complete and utter tripe - something that an ignoramus leans on to avoid learning the real details. America has tried all sorts of contrasting ideas, and have fought about them the whole way.
 
sorry zeke. i can't help you. continue to believe that the differences between our two banking systems are entirely about FDR and jean chretien. knock yourself out. when you believe stupid things like that, it leads you to make statements like "the debt isn't a problem at all", so i shouldnt be surprised with the fantasy you've created here for yourself. these guys say hi....

no, i said they hadn't "made the playoffs" since that series. between that series and now, your team has done nothing but LOSE. you lost the next playoff series, and you had non-playoff seasons in every year since. its sad that those lalime goals were the last good thing to happen to your franchise.
 
It must hurt deep down that no matter what your diddy team does, you'll never be a tenth as important as the Leafs, regardless of how bad they are.

I remember that one cool year where you lost the Penguins and said NO TEAM could play the Penguins that tough. Then we went out and beat the Penguins in the next series.
