OT: The News Thread

He might understand something about the VC market (raining money on fools), but likely not other facets of the economy. The Fed is moving up the rates, there has been significant balance sheet correction in other sectors of the economy and we working though inflation effects of the COVID shock, which were considerable.

If there is another recession, it will be likely caused by another supply shock (the war and grain supplies), not a money supply issue.

Pretty sure he has a well earned reputation for managing like a petty tyrant and creating a toxic work environment. Which is harder to do and for him to enjoy if his employees aren’t there for him to abuse in person.

It’s also another shot across the bow to Twitter and their employees, since they have a very liberal work-from-home policy for most of their workforce.

The thought of forcing those workers back into the office (and making them stress out about that policy change ahead of time) probably gives Elon sexual pleasure.

They can't all be crazy ex-girlfriends, can they? I think this guy just likes raping people. Someone should tell him that winning a Juno or a Much Music award (do they even still do music-related stuff like that?) doesn't make you untouchable, or even recognizable. I wouldn't know this clown if I saw him on the street. I barely know that Hedley is a thing and couldn't name you one song. All I know for sure is that they're the exact type of band I would probably hate. I mean what are they? Nickelback lite?
