With how bad they are defensively, missing him is likely to be ugly. It's important because we're "only" 6 games back of Indy, Orlando, Cleveland, Miami, & Knicks all at 21-15 for the 4-8 seeds in the east. 1 game back of Brooklyn and 2 games back of Chicago is looking pretty likely for us to pass within the next 2-3 weeks, but it would be nice to see the weaker teams in that group (Indy is 12th in ntrg, Miami 16th, Orlando 11th) run into some struggles that can maybe help us get into the chase for a playoff spot instead of a play in spot.
Fwiw, the Raptors have a +5.3 net rating since the trade and if that was extrapolated out (it obviously doesn't work like this, too small of a sample, but still interesting) to be the season net rating, that would put the Raptors 4th in the NBA. So they've been pretty, pretty good since the trade (not including the short handed Detroit game...)
