OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Yeah, it's sort of like the time value of money.

We get a full year of development and maybe even get quality use out of the player before the pick from the following year even gets drafted (and who may be worse or even bust).

Also, there are good prospects in this draft, like every draft. Could easily end up with an all star from a top 6 pick
For sure some interesting names there.

Buzelis
Walter
Dillingham

Sheppard

Then pick two i think it really depends on who they take with the first one. If they go guard they may go big with Indy’s pick. Anyone think Edey falls to the second round?

I'm hoping for Dillingham tbh. He's the type of lead guard the league has trended towards and I don't know if IQ is. It would give us a small and kind of imbalanced back court for a few years, but Dillingham has big offensive ceiling imo and probably turns into a better version of IQ in the end.

At that 2nd pick I'm interested in the 2 rim runners likely available there, Missi and Ware. Both are wingspan monsters (Ware 7'7, Missi 7'6). Ware a bit taller and has a projectable corner 3. Missi stronger and better inside. Both protect the rim and rebound well. With Koloko rona'd, we need this type of player on the roster and both of these guys look like real NBA rim runner prospects.

As for Edey, I could see him slide out of the 1st round but I think a lot of it will come down to his private work outs. If they see improvement in his footwork as possible, you can't teach 7'4-7'5.

At the 31 pick I'm partial to Kyshawn George if he's there. Big "what if Delano Banton came into the league as a 41% shooter" vibes.
