Yeah, this tracks with what the media guys in town have been saying this week. New ownership believes that the Ingram trade and contract signals the end of the rebuild and now the expectations are that we make the playoffs and Masai will look to bundle up multiple assets into a better one.
This is just me theory crafting, but I think the obvious scenarios are
RJ + kids for a SG upgrade: The problem here is that there's really only a few SG's out there who are a significant upgrade. Devin Booker is the only one I see that makes much sense, but he doesn't strike me as the type of talent Masai is going to take a big swing at. There's the 3&D guys like Keon Ellis, but I'm struggling to see Sacto moving him for a guy who probably doesn't work with the perimeter guards that already don't work together that they have.
RJ + IQ for a star lead guard: Jah Morant is a headcase but a hell of a talent and there are rumours he's available. Trae a massive defensively liability but a pretty legit offensive engine....though I don't think we want to take the ball out of Scottie's hands quite as much as having Trae would do. The real HR swing here would be Lamelo if you think you can get him to buy into a system and play winning basketball.
RJ + Jake for a better big: RJ and Jake would be a pretty good start towards a Sabonis trade, though I don't know if Sabonis and Scottie would work great together in a half court offence, it would be intriguing as fuck to try. Probably the stealthiest fringe superstar player in the league. Maybe Cleveland is trying to shed some salary and would spin out RJ somewhere else for assets and flip us Allen?
