So yeah, let me know when Giannis is forcing his way here and we're getting to make a deal that doesn't blow out the back of the entire organization to put him in a Raptors jersey. I would fucking love that, let's go. It's just super unlikely. Until these "3 things" this guy is claiming to have been told are priorities, all I've heard from bigger media idiots is to expect Giannis to put winning ahead of every other priority.

I think we are living in a pipe world if we think we can get Giannis without Scotty, and even with Scotty i think our supplementary pieces suck.

So unless Giannis says Toronto or bust, and Milwaukee listens im going to be sensible and assume Thunder, Spurs ( big time here) or Houston.

Even the Nets have a better package to offer than us ( other than the crippling one)

1) Sure, and i like rainbows too

2) Scottie+ everything for 2 years of Giannis doesnt make us a winner, and the everything after Scottie is kinda poop ( relative to the kind of stuff that nets you a Giannis.) People are talking about Sengun being in a Rockets deal, and OKC and SAS are just loaded with stuff
 
In the same way its lazy to link the Raps to Maluach cause African, it's lazy to include us as a realistic trade destination cause Giannis and Masai are friends.

Durant is going to end up a Nugget. Houston can't salary match a Durant deal without FVV, but trading FVV requires pickup up his option. Denver is almost definitely going to trade MPJ and Phoenix makes sense for him. Same age as Booker, complementary skill set for Booker to work with, etc.

I don't see how FVV functions with Booker and Beal.
 
I actually do think that group might be a 2nd tier contender if the bench is good. But yeah, I don't think that offer wins.
 
I think we needed top 4 in the lottery to even have a chance in this discussion, and even then, unless he's extending. All this for 2 years of Giannis?

I just dont think the timing works
 
Without even one ounce of exaggeration Derrick White is the best player on the celtics and getting him for free changed everything for them.
