Myers wouldnt be any cheaper than Masai, and im pretty sure money was at least part of the reason on the timing of this.
Me think Masai wanted full control but fuckface Eddie and midget Pelley said noMyers wouldnt be any cheaper than Masai, and im pretty sure money was at least part of the reason on the timing of this.
And he’d immediately be our best playmaker.I don't actually hate that. His nerdies jumped significantly after the trade to the Clippers, despite shooting the ball fucking tragically (46% ts, down from 56% with Brooklyn). He's really, really likely to be looking at a 1 yr show me type deal and I see the fit, even if it's not intuitive (why do we hate shooters...). There's a really good (but limited) role player in there, so as long as he's paid like one, I'm good with it. Especially considering the shape of our bench right now.
I think you play him at the Centre spot as he is 6'10 and can't shoot. And Darko's offence is pass-happy, and he likes his Centers at or around the Elbow. And he’d immediately be our best playmaker.
Our shooting is looking rough if we sign him tho.

He’d be a decent backup C.i think you guys have your sights set all wrong with Simmons.
Simmons hasn't been an NBA starter for years.
21-22: did not play
22-23: 42gms, 26.3mpg, +0.4bpm
23-24: 15gms, 23.9mpg, +2.4bpm
24-25: 51gms, 22.0mpg, -0.5bpm (Plyf: 5gms, 8.4mpg, -2.9bpm)
If you sign him it's as a bench piece - and a just ok bench piece at that. Might be a fit at the right price though.

Friends with Barnes. He’d be a solid get for bench. Zaire Williams also not qualified.
