OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Rogers has a history of giving administrations 5-7 years. We are now closing in on year 5 of Shartstains.

It will be interesting to see how Rogers handles the low attendace for a 3rd straight season. They have acted accordingly in the past when crowds bottom out.

We've got a list, but we can't really explain how we're going to approach the list. You can't simply pick a name off of the list and pursue it. There are theoretical structures we're dealing with here that affect the nature of time and space itself. So even considering a decision requires the steady, focused mind state of a shaolin monk.

We are doing all of that aggressively, right now.

The 2021 date coincides with a more polished Bo, Biggio and Jansen. Also, with the hopes that Vlad is essentially the best hitter in MLB by that point.

With this offseason going so poorly the 2021 timeline has probably been pushed back.

I've been saying this for 3 years now. We will be lucky to have 1 or 2 contending seasons before Vlad leaves via Free Agency.

Shapiro became a part of this organization at the worst possible time.
 
It would be so like them to overpay a 32 yr old corner OF'er who doesn't do a lot other than hit 25-30 HR. Calhoun is basically an older Grichuk who can't play CF, but can take a walk.
 
I mran if the plan is for Grichuk CF, Lourdes LF, Calhoun RF, Teo DH and one member of the clown car as OF4 and maybe Alford as 26th man. I mean, okay, whatever. Cal's stick should play better here than Angel park
 
Where tf is the pitching?

i can’t care less about the offence. Our offence looks good as is imo. We have absolutely nothing for a rotation. Are we banking on Pearson, Kay, Borucki, Thornton and Waguespak to carry the load?

besides Pearson looking like a stud that is a garbage rotation in all likelihood.

not seeing much upside. Zeuch? Who else is there? Manoah isn’t close.
