Have to give Popkins credit. Lukes, Barger, Clement, Loperfido, Heineman and Wagner in the lineup and they’re dominating again. That looked like a AAAA lineup a few months ago.

Watch them barely do anything at the deadline but a couple meh relievers saying that’s all they needed and then go cold after the deadline. Would be such a Shatkins move to do a decent/meh tinker move and it blow up. Go for it NOW. This is when you load up. Peddle to the floor. Get a Clase/Duran, get another solid leverage arm, get another starter, get a bench bat. Just go for it

Lauer is the pitching version o Colabello, you cant put him in the pen, and i doubt you are doing that to Scherzer, or DFAing him, so unless we are getting Cease Degrom or Alcantara, lets just beef this pen and get a RHHBB

Naylor was one of the big catches of the deadline for a rental

Seattle didn’t give up any top prospects so no need to blow your brains out if Jays go after rentals

Because hes pitching too well, and whoever you are bringing in is just not as good ( probably).
