Cease with another gem...to say the least. Pitch count too high for more, I'd think. If it was just one more inning, he'd for sure get his chance. Man, this stings.

what a game by Cease! Thought we finally had another after all this time (Dave Stieb 1990), but alas, it was not meant to be. Cease has been legit awesome all year though.

They said it would've been the first since Stieb, and I got surprised because I could've sworn Halladay had one with us. I know he missed a few, and then had one or two with the Phillies, but was positive he tossed one for the Jays before he left. Bummer.
