OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Soriano was just ok, but man so much of the perspective on how he pitched tonight will ride on what Fluharty does here.

Give him all the run the rest of the way vs RHP in CF, and find him a cheap friend for the bench if he looks like he can give you scrappy OBP offense and a plus plus glove.

Someone jokes about a Bateman/Daz Cameron platoon in 27, and while the latter is probably a busted top prospect, he is tearing it up for Buffalo over the last month

Yeah, he should be given a shot down the stretch to put in a claim on at least OF4 for next season or as you mention some sort of platoonish CF situation with him on the strong side. It's a profile that can be valuable imo. He's going to make pitchers go deep into counts against him, he's going to get on base at a decent clip and provide speed at the bottom of the lineup (more important than at the top of the lineup imo, but his OBP+Speed combo is a nice thing to turn over the order with). If his skills translate to MLB, he's a decent piece who can be a 2+ WAR CF imo.

Id prefer this solution a helluva lot more without Gimenez's shit stick in there and a major question mark at DH.

Gimmy is the SS, and yeah DH is easy to upgrade on, but i suspect these guys are going to convince themselves to give Santander one more year rather than get off his money, same with Gimmy.

I think they add a LF and a bench, dunno if its good enough
