He's good man. Dude has elite bat speed, considered a good prospect with upside for a couple of years, and his hitting is getting progressively better as this year goes on. Looking real comfortable at 3B with that cannon arm, too.
Been a good prospect for a while. Always expected to be a decent hitter, with big tools but a risky profile. Big surprise is he looks really good defensively at 3B, which is huge for this roster.
Santander will get hot at some point. He’s streaky.

It’s pretty insane that if those two guys become everyday players, they’ll be the first regulars drafted and developed by Shatkins since Bichette. And of course the scouting director that pushed hard for Bichette in 2016 was fired a few months later for not being Shatkins-y enough in his approach.
Hopefully Varsho is back in time for the trade deadline. He’s slashing .163/.178/.395 over his last 10 games, so this might not be the worst time for a break.
Myles Straw will take his place, he’s almost as good in CF and he’s outhitting Varsho this year.
