The issue for Yesavage is the innings limit (probably 120ish this year). Agree that he’s more useful as a starter, but for this year I’d rather have him throwing high-leverage bullpen innings thorough October than making a bunch of MLB starts and getting shut down at the end of August.
 
we'll see how it goes but I'm pretty high on our bullpen right now. Not sure i'd expect the kid to be an upgrade, especially in high leverage.

I also remember the last time we worried about innings limits it didn't save Sanchez from blowing out his shoulder.

I don't know that there's any real difference between him pitching 120 or 150 innigs this year tbh.

love that our chubby little guy is playing even better now that he's finally getting a fulltime starting gig for the first time.
