OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Kinda crazy that even with our streak (tied for 1st since May 8), our run differential is a sparkling 0, while TB tied with us is +50 and NYY is +95.

So Joey Bats was the best of the three, but he did it in his 30s.

Vlad Jr will have the most WAR of the bunch because he will play the most games as a Jay.

And Delgado was just very good.

we actually started off the season pretty well, going 12-8 in our first 20 with a +6 run differential (+0.3 runs per game), which justified the record. We were playing a better brand of baseball and things were looking pretty hopeful.

Then we had a hilarious 9gm slump where we went 1-8 with an incredible -41 run differential (-4.6 runs per game) in just those 9gms. Just absolutly smashed.

But i the 37gms since we've gone 23-14, with a +35 run differential (+1.0 runs per game), which again is justifying the record, that's included a couple big blowouts either way.



Can't just ignore that 9gm disaster but it may have been just a blip. we'll see.
 
It seems like it is a blip. They also can't run guaranteed L Francis out there every turn. Luckily per your post the other day, they can skip his start a few times over the next few weeks.
 
Kirkie #5 on hard hit % list (95 mph or higher exit velocity) in all of baseball ... for the season! Vladdy 15.

Chad Green needs to fuck off as soon as a RP comes off the IL. He's the worst guy in the pen.

Helluva run these guys are on, they just need to clean up some of the shrub bummery on the roster ( Francis, Green)
