For the first two months, the Jays were drifting by on a bottom-5 run differential and mediocre record. Their streak has them back to an above .500 pythag. But yeah they’re not going to continue to win 9/10 for the next 3 months. And the Yankees are going to go on a run at some point too.
Jays are currently on pace for 92 wins. If they play .500 ball the rest of the way they’ll end up with 87-88 wins. That gets them a wildcard, which is a great outcome for this group.
