OT: Vacations

we're flying through bogota, and from there i think cartagena and salento (a friend called it a must do and it looks incredible) but haven't set any plans yet.

Granville Island is cool, lots going on with cool shops and places to have a beer etc. Capilano suspension bridge is nice for some nature in the city. Stanley park is ok to stroll around. I haven't been down in december for a while though!

Shows: Anything Cirque does, Penn & Teller, Jabbawockeez if you're into hip hop/dance. I've seen Jabbwockeez live and it was dope, seen two different cirque shows and they're always incredible.
Comedy: Eddie Griffin, Ron White, Daniel Tosh and all sorts of comedy club shows with touring comics.
Stuff: The gun store to try out a bunch of exotic firearms, LV motor speedway to tear around a track in an exotic (I haven't done this yet and am dying to). I did the zombie package a few years ago and it was entertaining as ****. If you don't have experience with firearms, you will quickly realize why so many Americans are loony about them, and also why we've always been right to restrict the **** out of their ownership and usage.

aaaaand the Golden Knights play Anaheim, in Vegas on the 5th it seems.
 
Yeah, I'm tempted to see the game on the 5th. I noticed they played at home.
I'm looking at taking ahellicopter ride to the grand canyon one of my days there.

I have a few buddies who did that and said it was good. I've never done a helicopter tour of anything myself though so can't say.

Awesome experience at the Canyon , luckily your in December mine was 110 degrees in August .

Vegas is incredible , you have to catch the game . I have been in the T Mobile arena on a business trip , place is awesome and close to everything.
 
Regarding Vancouver.... See if you can get a deal at the fairmount Pacific rim. Near the Olympic flame and the sea wall for a nice walk. Great rooms too. The capuano bridge is great. For a day out.
Regarding Vegas... If you are booking a cirque show. Contact the concierge of the hotel it's in and see what they have in terms of tickets. We got 10th row dead centre of o at the bellagio for much less that ticketmaster. Each hotel has a reserved section for guests. I'd love.to see LOVE at the mirage as I'm.a huge beatle fan. I really wanted to hit up a shooting range but didn't. Next time.
