It's been a long ass time but if I remember correctly episode 1 didn't start off with a bang and the show evolved pretty quickly after.

Throw on S08EP03 for a taste. There are plenty of funny episodes once you get into it. Funny show.

Avenue 5: it's like the Love Boat in space with a bunch of F-ups for a crew. On HBO and only 1 season of 6-30 minute episodes. Amusing time waster.
