OT: What are you Watching/Listening/Drinking?

Oooh, awesome, I had no idea their new season was about to start.

Big fan of the books & the show.
I've been meaning to get into The Expanse for probably a year now, would really prefer to start with the books but that's a bigger investment of time & money. Since you're familiar with both, should I start with the books or tv show?

I wonder how it compares to something like Game of Thrones, may be the best TV show of all time (certain elements of the final season notwithstanding), but the books are still better (I read the first 4).

I ended up doing it the same way with "The Expanse" as I did with "Game of Thrones". In both cases, my first exposure to the series was watching the first season of the TV show, and then going out and reading the books afterwards.

Either way, I didn't feel like having watched the first season lessened my enjoyment of the first book, or vice-versa with the following seasons of the TV series after having read the books. So I'm not sure I've got a recommendation for you.

Honestly, in both cases I went out and got the books both because I love to read, and because I was too impatient to find out what happens next in the story to wait until the next season of the TV show came out.

I bailed on Westworld after season 1. I thought it was quite good -- but 10hrs of that movie is enough.

I tried three times to get into that show and couldnt. I love shows with different story lines but what a cluster fuck trying to follow that

Kidding is excellent
The Outsider is boring with moments but mostly weak writing
Escape At Dannemorra and Sharp Objects criminally underrated
Devs starting out great and Dispatches from Elsewhere has my interest piqued

So who's your hero zeke?

Over the course of things, it's Margo for me.

Funny but the two first leads- Q and Alice - obviously are the worst.

Honestly kinda love everyone else. But yeah Eliot and Margo have rightly taken over. They rock. Penny too. Picking between those 3 is tough. All work the asshole-with-heart-of-gols angle pretty awesomely.
