Yup. And you've all been correct of course (it's obviously not controversial to acknowledge that neither side has performed perfect behavior and in many cases done some deplorable acts). But WeHave just sucks ass at communicating and has no idea how to do anything but have ridiculously extreme takes on every topic. It's a stunner to me that he isn't an alt right extremist. He has the perfect personality for it.

I'm not bad at communicating. I said what I said. Some people are merely angry with the message so they're attacking the messenger. It all boils down to this:

Israel has been running Gaza as an apartheid state for years. Netanyahu hasn't even deigned to speak to the Palestinians in nearly a decade. The supply of food and water is controlled by Israel and people in Gaza live in squalor. If Israel didn't have friends in high places in the UN they'd be a pariah state just like South Africa was 40 years ago when they were running an apartheid state and labeling the ANC as a "terrorist organization". These are simply uncomfortable truths that some people choose to ignore, not "misunderstandings" that aren't communicated well.

Does any of this excuse what Hamas did? Of course not. Does it explain it? Yeah, a little. Try living under someone's boot for a couple of decades and tell me you wouldn't be radicalized. This is what happens when you elect fascists like Netanyahu to run your country. Corruption punctuated by escalating cruelty and violence.

My first filter is whether or not the piece of news suits obvious Kremlin goals. Like this "bellingcat" (that turned out to not be Bellingcat and the BBC report on the Bellingcat report was likewise a fucking fake) report on ukie weapons being used in the Hamas attack was obvious bullshit.

Russia and it's foreign allies have been crafting an entirely alternate reality together for 7-8 years now on social media and it's all bullshit, a lot of it obvious. The Fantasy Industrial Complex has carved out their causes and created an entire alternative worldview, anything that supports that worldview should be considered epic bullshit until independently verified.
