We should all learn from Finland.

The Swedes asked China politely "can we board your boat that clearly did the sabotage thing?" and when told no, the Swedes let the boat go. Fast forward a few weeks and the shit happens again with a Russian ghost fleet merchant vessel, the Finns asked no one for anything, sent their special forces to seize the ship and when asked if they've spoken to the Russians about it answered "no, and we have no plans on it".

Finns fucking hate Russians. So much so, that they actually allied with the Nazis to fight the Russians in WW2 (admittedly after Russia had invaded them first)

Eastern Europe was between a rock and a hard place in WW2. If Soviet Russia is actively invading your country in an imperial war of conquest, I'm willing to give you a pass for taking help from wherever you can get it.

Of course that doesn't extend to any individuals who went along with Nazi genocides in their countries.

The Finns made it VERY expensive for the Russians and, in so doing, convinced Hitler that the Russians were a paper tiger ripe for invasion.
