US D-9 bulldozers worth billions of shekels arrive in Israel after Trump admin. releases shipment

The problem with this map is that Trump only came into office in January 2025. Whatever was gained by China between 2020 and 2024 was under the control of Biden.

One of the main elements that comes into play here also, is the rift that Russia caused with Europe that caused a domino effect benefiting China between the reference period.

At this point, I think we've breached critical mass, the genie is out of the bottle and the economic juggernaut that is China will be very hard to control over the next decade or so.

Eh, looking at the map like this is goofy. It's kind of an extension of looking at voting maps and realizing that land doesn't vote. The colours look pretty on a map, but isn't super useful as a visual to show what's important on the ground. For example, half of Africa pivoting to China is noteworthy and it's definitely not nothing, but the GDP of the entire continent is 3.1T. Another significant part of that is China not really having a domestic energy industry and being very, very reliant on energy exporters so there's your middle east pivot because North America is energy independent and a net exporter.

SEA is going to be an economic bloc that favours China by virtue of geography, but it's not China led in the way we're used to either. They've all made their own security and trade agreements around China to protect themselves from China.

China isn't an economic juggernaut in the way post WW2 America was, the Chinese century isn't going to be a thing. It has a bunch of deep structural problems that require robust trade to help balance out. Without massive amounts of international trade they would grind to a halt in a hurry.

His tweet is not an accurate reflection of what Israeli intelligence sources are saying though. At least, not what I have read
