OT: WWE/MMA/Boxing Thread

UFC has to get out of USA fir their events until vaccine is available. Just not a safe place for fighters to not catch covid. Should actually look at Vancouver or something like that.
 
UFC's been in two places since April: Abu Dhabi & Las Vegas. The UFC has a bunch of buildings that they own in Las Vegas (and the former owners own some casinos to facilitate if necessary) where they can somewhat quarantine and keep everyone in a bubble. The UFC also built their own "arena" of sorts where they've been hosting all of their fights and they're in the process of building their own fighter hotel right next to that arena, so they're not far away from being self-sufficient. It's very possible that they'll just do all of their events in Abu Dhabi for the foreseeable future. They have one more card in Vegas for the year, and then we'll see.
 
Didn’t need that summary lol. Aware they are planning to build their own hotel etc to be able to have their own little bubble in the future. Covid has been hurting their Vegas cards the last few weeks and thanksgiving is making things worse says the doctors. Would just get the fuck out of Vegas atm was my point - at long last even the ufc is having problems with keeping their cards intact cause it’s just getting that bad in USA (they have more than one event left - they have 3)
 
I don't care how much of a killer they are, I've never heard a Brazillian speak that doesn't sound like a bitch. This guy isn't Anderson Silva soft sounding, but he's not far off.
 
Said ismail got covid and missed his fight. Want him and oli to fight next. Not sure Oli will take that fight anymore. Prob looking for a top 4 to fight next
 
Will see if Conor wins or not. Some guys might chase him for the $$ instead of the belt if he does lose in January. And if kabib is actually retiring and ufc taking the belt off him.
 
I see this as DF’s first title defense, ufc fucked up the last fight. Problem with this division and doing this so quickly is if he wins - then what?
