We're clearly a tired bunch. We didn't have 12 days off in between series and we only roll 10 forwards and 5 dmen.
No complaining. The other side deserves their edge.

We can still win. Just can't afford to hit so many crossbars and whiff on breakaways.

LFG!

We are winning the next 3 games.....closing it out Sunday in MTL

We have young legs...Canes won't see what hit them

Gotta try something different because we are getting outplayed bad in our zone. Have to make it alot more difficult for them to enter the zone.

I don't think outplayed is the right term here....Canes are just shooting from everywhere.....but they haven't had that much more scoring chances than Habs.

But our forwards are doing the minimum to help the d-men....Evans, Slaf, even Suzy have been weak with clearing the d-zone......and Cole often leaves the zone too fast hoping for the outlet breakway pass....that's Habs style of play, but gotta maybe stay a bit longer to help the dmen instead.

got to spend more time in their zone...we need to stack back to back shifts where we cycle the puck 200 ft from our net

Habs have to start mucking it up like the previous two series. What they’re doing now isn’t working.

we don't need to muck it up necessarily, but they are out hitting us even tho they have the puck more. we should be outhitting them considering they possess the puck more

It looks like they are putting our man to man D into spin cycle far more effectively than BUF. They have the puck and the Habs can’t seem to touch them.

Yeah… but for the most part Habs have been disciplined on covering their guy so their cycle isn’t creating that many great chances despite all that pressure.

It’s stylistically hard to watch but I’m more concerned about what we’re doing (or not doing) in their end.

We’re scoring 2 goals per game. We’re not going to win many (or any) games 2-1

interesting that Max Lapierre said that after the 2nd game, he said we need shit after whistles, we have fallen into their passive non tough type of game
