I think this is the quality of the nhl currently. It’s a watered down league. We are a 106 point team yet we suck defensively. This is not unique to us.

I think the Habs have been very good defensively through 2 games - marked improvement over the regular season

Both games have edge over TBay in high danger scoring opportunities except for OT last night.

In fairness to them, the Lightning are the Gold Standard at finding these supposed nobodies and turning them into good to elite NHL players. It's their entire D save for Hedman and McDonagh.
