Playoff GDT | Game #4 | at Bell Centre | Tuesday, 5/12/26 7:00 PM EST

But we could end up losing the series due to a bounce off backboard. Sabres gad nothing going and boom, that happened
That’s defeatist thinking. A bad bounce in the second period of game 4 that tied the game and eventually the series can’t be considered as costing us the series. We laid an egg in the third, that was more the issue. Sabres were still on their heels but we suddenly couldn’t complete a pass.

Guess u don't remember the Lidstrom goal against Cloutier in 2002...

Expected "playoff beast" Slafkovsky has been putrid since game one in Tampa. I would seriously consider switching Bolduc with him to give that top line some jam 5 on 5.

And maybe Slaf wakes up the 2nd line (and creates more space for Demidov)

Outside of the PP, the first line has been MIA. But usually that's how the playoffs are, the top lines balance themselves out, and the depth wins you series.

The second line is all Newhook so far...

Hopefully this was the same sinking feeling we had after that Kovalev slash game and we end up winning the series anyways.

Slafkovsky has to stop the no-look-behind-the-back BS. Too many stupid turnovers.

The most frustrating player in recent Habs memory — just when you think he’s pulled it all together, he reverts to rookie play.

Sometimes it happens from shift to shift

I keep telling myself that he's only 22 and that boy's brains typically develop until 25 or so.

Put Slaf on the 2nd line and Cole on the 3rd... Get Anderson on the 1st and Dach on the 2nd line. Or something... That #1 line needs to be split up for now though.
