Playoff GDT: Round 1, Game 4 Canes @ Ottawa 4/25 3:00

Given how classy Rod is, I honestly can see him saying to Tkachuk, “dude you’re a good hockey player, be better than that”. And to Green, saying “ that was a BS move whipping all this hubbub up”
 
Meh on both counts. Yeo is a schmuck and was hanging around kind of edging out of the line, so … whatever. And the exchange between Green and Brindy doesn't look that angry to me. I think people might be reading too much into something … again. Seems to be a popular hobby in hockey media and fandoms.
 
I couldn't make much from their faces or mouths, but the handshake seemed to end with hands being yanked apart, and both quickly turning away. Yeo was snubbed.

You could tell from the handshake that it was not a friendly handshake. He ripped his hand away and then glared back at him. Doesn’t take some sort of genius to see that “fandom” or not.

OK, then why did they have a normal looking, genial handshake at the benches right after the game.

Because Rod said something to one of his players in handshake line that changed things. He had something to say to Frankenstein right in front of him and it obviously didn’t sit right with green. Sure, bolt in the neck guy didn’t react negatively to what was said, but Green did. Rod probably said something about his talent and not needing to play like a buffoon, tapped him on the chest and walked on. Green didn’t like it.

That’s why I’d like to know what was said because what it looks like and what it was might be totally different. Green has been shooting the Carolina bench shitty looks since game 2. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter. I’m just curious
 
Sorry man … I’m just not seeing what other people are seeing there. We need to get Jomboy on the case for some lip reading
