PLAYOFF GDT: Series 1 / Game 3: VS Toronto, Monday, May 24th, 7:00EST

We are going down with this ship...outside of Romanov, we have no replacement options that could tip the scale
 
Its one thing to lose. But it would be nice to watch a team that plays entertaining hockey, like you see in some of the other series. Watchnig the Habs Is always like watching someone pull teeth. At least PK and Kovalev entertained.....

I was finally entertained in the 3rd period. Took 9 periods of hockey.
 
I’d look to swipe KK for another young center with upside...before the rest of the league realizes he’s at most a 3-4th line center, or eventually a top 9 winger

no he did not.... the entire team started their funk under his watch; otherwise he’d still be here

I know it’s tempting to keep pointing fingers behind the bench but the guy upstairs overrated his roster this year...

and he’s lucky Pricer has kept this series from being a blowout
 
The expectations are awfully high on a 20 year old center.

KK still has a lot of room to mature into a very good center. A bunch of you would have tossed Sean Couturier and a bunch of other excellent centers in the trash.

Yeah. It’s just not a very good team. Julien wouldn’t make much, if any, difference.

Bur the “reset” is over, as per Geoff.
 
They need another Pacorietty trade- an useful veteran and a young prospect who quickly outplays the veteran. Price and Weber won’t be moved with Bergevin still here or without salary retention on the Habs part. Gage if there is a market for Gallagher.

haha....as Bergy likes to say “it’s up to the players to decide”

they’ll be in a tough fight for a playoff spot next year so the reset may linger

Not sure if Gally can be moved this year...doesn’t his new contract kick-in July 1st ? Or have we already burned year 1 of 6 ?
