He's been playing with his current linemates for weeks now and was playing with them 4 nights ago. Missing a practice is no big deal at this stage of the game. In fact, the rest is probably just as useful. It isn't like he's going to forget how to play hockey just because he didn't practice over the weekend. If he gets to Tampa in time to be dressed for the pregame warmup he's playing.
