Dano`s line has to contribute more goals , its nice that they check but being near ZERO offensively wont work against their studs upfront .

These aren't the wimpy Leafs , or beat up Peg , or no centers Vegas ( Stone and Max and nothing else )

Dano has to at least produce like Pageau to chase down their guns all night

The main issue is actually not putting Danault against their best line. You need to try to have that match up.

Danault played most game against Yanni Gourde, that's not normal and is on the coach. He actually wasn't on the ice for any goal against at 5-5, again.

I don't fully buy this. There is certainly more that can be done compared to matching Danault against Point-Kucherov for only about 2 minutes during the game. I just don't think we tried very hard.

Indeed that would be great.

But more important is to forget game 1 and improve in game two. And as Krustchev say it is not over but (at least I think so) just normal for Habs to lose the first game.

I get that its harder to produce in the playoffs but you cant produce at a 10 goal pace and 30 in the regular season

Get closer to 20 , hard work and RESPEK only goes so far

Their first goal was luck, shots were close for half the game....we were all over them at 2-1 but couldn't finish.

Still a long series, and Vasili didn't look all-world yesterday....very shaky at times with puck control.
