Sure, but if it's an homage to either it makes no conceptual sense to a hockey team named Sceptres.

though cash and sceptres do go together.

but anyways there's all sorts of "serpent winding around sword/stafff/etc/" logos around for this to share conceptual sense with.

yeah like wtf is up with that Boston logo. like it was designed for a different team nickname, then they just decided to roll with fleet...

Yeah, it looks like a fishhook. They had a different name and had to change at the last minute and kept the logo. I guess the Boston Hookers wasn't thought through enough.
