I mean, yes ... but more concerning as a consumer is how warped Gold's perception is by his personal relationship with a player/coach/whatever. He's tight with Erik Cole so whatever Cole says is 100% correct, all the time. He's less tight with Brindy, but is still convince that the man walks on water. Both positions are fundamentally lacking in objectivity, which means he's no better than Tripp when it comes to informing anybody about anything other than storylines. And if you even hint that this is the case, the guy's ego won't even let him hear it.
