Well geez guys, if you were curious, just ask. We Have More Cups and Count have been my online (and occasionally in person) buddies since the the late 90s, as WHMC says here.
Fanhome used to be the best place to troll Leafs fans because of the compelte lack of irony, self-awareness and unquestioned fanboyism of posters like (my old nemesis) PQ, or as he came to be known, Pee Queue.
I was around for the first photos of the first Fanhome meet up. There is still no emoji that captures how those made me feel. I swear PQ was in eyeliner and pancake makeup.
I was sad when Floydian Leaf passed away. He got me. Got great DMs from him whenever I landed a funny one.
Anyhow, now mostly retired from 25 years of corporate PR life and now motly work part-time representing bands you've heard of, getting their back catalogues out on vinyl, and increasingly (how far we've come...) cassettes.
Count and We Have can also attest that my wife's step-dad played for both the Bruins and the Leafs in the late 50s and early 60s, but I converted her to a Habs fan. Someone on Fanhome once guessed who is, or was. Passed away afew years ago.
Just dropped into here to gently stir the pot. Most of the time when I drop in, all I see ais page after page of OT posts - much harder to get a rise of people on those!
That said, I'm 50 now (Count and We Have also know I was born the day Paul Henderson scored the winning goal against the USSR...) and hopefully not the a$$hole I used to be
