Habs needs a vet in return, not sure who fitsSince we're spitballing, any interest in trading Montembeault? If so, Colorado's looking for a goalie in the worse possible way...
I am not so sure NJ says no for Nemec , he has been very slow to developYeah, not sure why Columbus/NJ would do that.
I totally get why we would do that, though.
You would expect him to be a regular by now at #2 , its 3 yearsSlow to develop?
He's 20 years old from one of the weakest drafts in the last twenty years. Most people following the draft thought that Slaf would have been drafted in the 6-7 range if he was eligible for the 2023 draft, and by default Nemec would have been taken further. Only Slaf & Cooley have established themselves in the NHL from that draft. Literally every other player from that draft isn't there or is struggling in the league.
Stop looking at his draft rank and take things into context. He's 20 years old from one of the weakest drafts in the last twenty years.
It's not his fault he was selected #2You would expect him to be a regular by now at #2 , its 3 years
Plus he is insulated very well
Not at all , I had him as a legit stud in that draftIt's not his fault he was selected #2
Not his fault you rated him where you didNot at all , I had him as a legit stud in that draft
I just thought that 3 years in he would be in their top 6
I think Joisy fucked up royally signing the beat up and overrated Pesce
Laraque says that St. Louis and Hughes had a meeting with Gerard Gallant in Toronto.
Again, for what it's worth.
wouldn't they want one who stops pucks?Since we're spitballing, any interest in trading Montembeault? If so, Colorado's looking for a goalie in the worse possible way...
And fuck up the tank?wouldn't they want one who stops pucks?
