Man, tipping has really gotten out of control. Why the hell are we being asked to tip at concession stands? Or for food delivery? The worst one is Uber Eats making you feel like you’re starving some poor drivers family if you don’t tip 20% of the total cost AND 20% of the tax AND 20% of all the fees they tack on which they should be using to pay the driver.

Tipping should only be for people who can make your experience better. A good waiter can make your experience at a restaurant better. A good barber can make your experience better. Concession stand employees and delivery drivers can’t do that. So how about you pay them a decent wage in the first place and then I’ll decide if I’m willing to pay for the service.

Sneaky buggers also have it where if you use the default tip amount, it calculates it based not on your food order amount but your order amount and all those other fees added on (tipping on their uber service fees,etc lol?). At least that's how it was last time I've checked their app.
