AFTER... he was fired by them, and AFTER signing an extension with them. Bitter Healy has a twin.

There have been a few coach firings this season, and Wilson never once came up as a replacement. I would guess that the rest of the NHL watched him throw Leaf players under the bus on a constant basis, and any GM with half a brain thought to themselves; "we don't need that kind of shit here." Not only will he not return to the Leafs in any capacity, but I dare say it's unlikely he returns to the NHL in any capacity, until he can show himself to not be the fingerpointer of old.

Yes, that's one way of looking at it and I think you bring up a very valid and interesting point about his personality and other teams not wanting to bring that baggage on. The other thing to also consider is maybe Wilson has been approached by other clubs and just isn't interested in the pressures of coaching in the NHL, it could be he wants to devote his time to his family, and if that's true then I applaud Wilson for putting his family first.
