His stats are very impressive even for the French League.

Premier League newcomers Bournemouth have completed the signing of Ipswich full-back Tyrone Mings.

The 22-year-old, who joined Ipswich in 2012, has agreed a four-year deal with the Cherries and becomes the club's fifth summer signing.

Interesting move, wasn't Mings linked with quite a few top half teams last January?

Petr Cech to Arsenal is complete, long term contract signed, fee reported to be £11 million.

I think that is a stunningly good deal for Arsenal. He is a major upgrade in that position and he should help settle down the defenders in front of him as well.

If they can get a top defensive midfielder they will be right in the mix next year.

Listening to the chatter (yeah, I know), both Arsenal and United are very serious about making upgrades that make them competitive for the top spot next year. And in both cases, the defensive/B2B midfielder seems to be a lynchpin.

It appears that Man U beat out Arsenal for Morgan Schneiderlin. But there is a rumor out there that Arsenal has turned their sights to Arturo Vidal.

Robin Van Persie has agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce on a 4 year deal. The clubs are negotiating a fee now.

If I was United I would just be happy to get his wages off the bill and move him on, anything on top of that would be a bonus.

The Sunday Express reports that Liverpool will trigger Christian Benteke's £32.5 million release clause.

The Independent reports that Morgan Schneiderlin has told friends he'd prefer Arsenal to Man U.

With FFP restrictions lifted, Man City is embarking on a spending spree. The Star reports that Raheem Sterling will sign for a £45 million fee. They also report that City will trigger Fabian Delph's £8 million release clause.

So.... coool..... And there go our two best players. At least that's a good haul for Benteke. That seems shockingly low for Delph and also horrible for him because he will not play at all on city. I kind of really hate soccer right now.

Well ... Benteke was never long for Villa Park and that is a fine return. Plus, it's early enough in proceedings that you can actually spend the money on other players. Delph? Oh boy that would hurt. Hopefully that's just a rumor.

Crystal Palace are close to completing the club-record signing of Paris St-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

Palace and the Ligue 1 champions have agreed a fee in the region of £10m, rising to around £13m with add-ons.

He would be an amazing get for Palace.

Tottenham have signed Toby Alderweireld for an undisclosed fee from Atletico Madrid on a five-year contract.

The 26-year-old Belgium defender was on loan at Southampton last season and made 26 Premier League appearances.

This one could get complicated, there was some clause in his loan to Southampton that Southampton say Athletico didn't take up in time so this one could get tricky.

Manchester United hope to sign Torino defender Matteo Darmian in time for him to be involved in their pre-season tour of the United States.

The Premier League club are not commenting on reports in Italy that a £12.9m transfer has been concluded, but negotiations are at an advanced stage.

A legit RB rather than Valencia seems like an upgrade

Stoke City midfielder Steven Nzonzi is to have talks with Sevilla after the clubs agreed a reported £7m fee.

Potters boss Mark Hughes said the Spanish club and Europa League winners have reluctantly been granted permission to speak to Nzonzi, 26.

Big loss for Stoke this one, can understand the players desire to move. Sevilla are usually around the European mix in Spain

And as the Europa League winners, Sevilla get a spot in the Champions League Group Stage.

Stoke City have signed Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel and Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given.

Van Ginkel, 22, moves on a season-long loan deal after making just four appearances for Chelsea since joining them from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013.

"Marco will bring great energy to the side," said Stoke boss Mark Hughes.

Given, 39, has signed a two-year deal to move on a free transfer and link up
