Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

And Alexander Isak informed Newcastle that he wants to leave. He didn’t play in their friendly against Celtic and didn’t fly to Singapore with the club. With Liverpool closing the deal with Ekitike, are they still interested?

Well the supporters sure are. Rumours flying around, particularly as many are convinced that Luis Diaz will be gone and Darwin Nunez may well follow him out. And strong rumours about Harvey Elliott as well, though the price tag I saw (£50M) seems unrealistic.
Centre back really needs to be a priority right now. They need to bring in one more, and I really want them to sort out the situation with Konate. Going into the season with only Virgil, Joe Gomez and Ibou under contract makes me nervous. Particularly as only the former two are under contract beyond this season.

So Arsenal finally got the long-awaited Viktor Gyökeres deal over the line.

This season's battle for the top spot, between Liverpool and Arsenal, will be epic. I'm sure Man City and Chelsea will have something to say about it in the end as well but it looks to me to be a two-team tussle.

Can’t wait.

A big deal is being made out of him wearing #14, which was Thierry Henry’s number. But that number has been worn nearly continuously since Henry left. After a 1 year lapse, Theo Walcott wore it, followed by Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah.

Report: Bayern Munich signing Liverpool's Diaz for €75M

Granit Xhaka to Sunderland is complete for a €15 million fee and up to €5 million in add-ons.

Newcastle is pursuing a move for Southampton keeper Aaron Ramsdale offering a loan with purchase option. Southampton would consider a straight sale or a significant loan fee and purchase price. Ramsdale played for Newcastle gaffer Eddie Howe for 3 years at Bournemouth. He’d be a younger option than current backup Martin Dubravka to challenge starter Nick Pope.

The Joao Felix saga is complete. He signed with Saudi side Al Nassr for a fee of €30 million with add-ons that could bring the total to €50 million. Over the course of 2 stints at Chelsea, he played 40 matches, scoring 11 goals. He was left of Chelsea’s squad for the Club World Cup after returning from a loan spell at AC Milan.

It's the best time of year for a Villa fan since this means it's the longest period of time until we next have to hear about rumored Villa interest in Felix! It's kind of like how when I used to work retail, I loved January since it was the longest amount of time until the holiday season came around.

Don't forget Martinez going to United as well on a loan, cause that's something that either Villa or Martinez would definitely go for... It feels like both United fans and the media have forgotten that in a different season, they could have easily been relegated last year.
