1. Everton bring in Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Lyon and sign Jack Grealish to another loan deal, while Beto moves on to Fiorentina.
2. Spurs bring in Mudryk AND Tosin from Chelsea
3. City finalized the Enzo deal
4. Malick Fofana ended up at Sunderland after all, despite Palace's late push
5. Hull brought in Olympiacos midfielder Christos Mouzakitis
6. Ipswich landed forward Zian Flemming from Burnley

And someone please explain to me what happened to see Chelsea's deal for Lamine Camara collapse, or even more bizarre, the entire Folarin Balogun move to Everton that also collapsed, ultimately.

Those are the ones I'm most aware of (notices throughout day).
 
Ooops ... forgot about the THREE "deal sheets" submitted by Crystal Palace that I am assuming means these players are headed to Selhurst. Form the Guardian

Crystal Palace have submitted deal sheets for Ben Chilwell, Dario Osario and Quinten Timber after dramatically missing out Malick Fofana earlier. Pierre Sage wanted to bring in more reinforcements ahead of a season that will see Palace play in the Europa League. Chilwell will replace Borna Sosa as cover for Tyrick Mitchell after the Croatia defender joined Köln on loan.

Palace turned to Osario – the Chile winger who plays for Midtjylland in Denmark – after Fofana opted to join Sunderland. They have also revived a move for Netherlands midfielder Timber (the twin brother of Arsenal’s Jurriën) from Marseille after failing to agree a fee for Mainz’s Kaishu Sano earlier in the day.

Apparently Balogun bailed on this deal at the last minute ... or the medical went badly ... or something else. Reporting thus far provides more click bait than answers, but what's certain is that Flo is staying with Monaco.
 
Balogun is out with his side of the story. Everton's medical staff flagged some concerns after his scans and paused the transfer. They came back later and decided to proceed, but by then Flo felt like they had jerked him around over nothing and refused to sign. Fair enough. He had a rough enough summer as it was.
 
Looks like the most obvious candidate to leave Villa Park, Leon Bailey, is actually leaving ... last, after the deadline and after everybody else already left. Nice job Leon. He's heading to Olympiakos on a permanent transfer, not a loan, but with no mention of a fee it sounds like it Villa might have simply terminated his contract upon his signing with Olympiakos. Happy journeys. Be careful of the door on the way out. Don't want to get hurt ... again.

So we maxed out our international loans quota. Didn't know that was a thing.

Liverpool has delayed the official announcement of Djylian N'Guessan's transfer because they maxed out their international loan quota. To navigate this Premier League and FIFA bureaucratic red tape, Liverpool hatched a unique structure with AS Saint-Étienne and Stade Brestois. Instead of a standard immediate transfer, N'Guessan extended his contract with Saint-Étienne and moved directly to Brest on a season-long loan to earn the necessary points for a UK work permit. Liverpool plans to finalize a pre-contract agreement in January 2027 to bring the 18-year-old forward to Anfield.
