I kind of hope he does it, because I do think that would definitively finish off the platform.

I mean, who else aside from the Musk fanboys and bots who’ve already paid for their blue checkmarks are going to start forking money over to Elon just because he makes it mandatory?

Yup. Watched it earlier. So fucking cringey. How hard is it to tell the guy, "I think you're a mysoginist dipshit" and lay out why? Instead she's trying to torpedo a fucking pizza event because it's Portnoy's by going after the sponsors?

It's tough to make Davey look like the good guy, but she achieved it.

My favourite was "I didn't say that to your sponsors"....and then Davey produced the receipts and it turned into "oh that, I only wrote a really pointed email to that one sponsor" which she of course justified because she "really wanted a response" from that particular sponsor.

What in the fucking fuck?
 
I like Portnoy about 50% of the time.

His fans are like everyone else, whether they're fans of a sport team or a political leaning: They're a little nutty, and they'll go to pretty decent lengths to dig shit up.

Anyone noticed that you get one of these at or near the top for most trending topics lately? Can't imagine people just thought of it now, so I assume Twitter used to have a way to prevent this that the #Genius has broken along with everything else.
